Mortgage Default Counseling
Are you behind on your house payments? You have worked hard to get your home, don’t let it slip away now! As a HUD approved counseling agency we are trained to look at all the options available to you. We can look at all your choices and help you make the decision that is right for you. We can help you with a workout plan, budgeting, credit and debt management, as well as referrals to other services and resources.

Landlord/Tenant-Rental Delinquency Counseling
If you are behind in your rent or have a dispute with your landlord, we may be able to help. We can help you figure out a plan to bring your rent current, look at options for moving, give you information about your rights and responsibilities as a tenant/landlord.

Reverse Mortgage Counseling
Are you a senior with a lot of equity in your home, but not much cash each month? Did you know there is a unique loan available just for you that requires no monthly payments? A HUD or Fannie Mae insured reverse mortgage may be the right answer for you! To find out more, talk with one of our housing counselors about the benefits, risks, and option available for Alaska’s seniors. The counseling is free and confidential.

Fair Housing Counseling
Fair Housing prohibits discrimination due to race or color, national origin, religion, disability/handicap, sex, or family status (which included children under the age of 18 living with parents or legal custodians; pregnant women and people securing custody of children under 18). If your rights have been violated, we may be able to help! Make an appointment to talk to one of our housing counselors today!
